Methodology

How ViniAI works with a winery

ViniAI Export Solutions helps Spanish wineries export better by combining direct commercial work with applied artificial intelligence. The methodology has four phases: diagnosis, strategy, activation and growth.

Last updated: 28 July 2026.

Phase 01

Diagnosis

We audit the winery's export position before proposing anything.

  • Review of the portfolio and current FOB prices.
  • Markets where the winery already sells and with which distributors.
  • Existing commercial materials (spec sheets, presentations, website) and language capability.
  • Realistic 12-month goals and internal capacity to execute.
Phase 02

Strategy

We define two or three priority markets and the entry path for each.

  • Market selection based on wine positioning, target price and importer profile.
  • Choice between HORECA, specialised retail, e-commerce or large chains.
  • Sales pitch adapted by market and buyer type.
  • Multilingual content plan and CRM structure to manage the pipeline.
Phase 03

Activation

We contact importers and start real conversations.

  • Segmented prospecting with proprietary lists enriched by AI.
  • Emails and calls assisted by ViniAI's commercial engine.
  • Samples and visits coordinated with the winery.
  • Logging and tracking in the internal CRM with an updated commercial score.
Phase 04

Growth

We measure, correct and scale what works.

  • Monthly review of pipeline, conversion and average order KPIs.
  • Adjustment of prices, channel and pitch by market.
  • Automation of repetitive tasks as the winery gains traction.
  • Quarterly roadmap agreed with the winery's team.

Data sources

Where the data we use comes from.

  • Portfolio, pricing and commercial data provided by the winery.
  • Public importer databases by country (official registries, chambers of commerce, sector trade fairs).
  • ViniAI daily radar: monitoring of specialised press and market signals.
  • Data disclosed by importers and buyers during the sales process.

Model assumptions

What we assume, openly stated.

  • The economic scenarios ViniAI shows are modelled, not promises of results.
  • Typical timelines to open a new market range from 3 to 9 months depending on channel and country.
  • The winery maintains product availability and logistics capacity to fulfil orders.
  • Price and channel are validated with importers before scaling commercial investment.
